REGISTRATION/FEES/START TIME:

 

            ~Registration is in the park next to the Urland Lutheran Church.  Registration for wave 1 opens at 7:30 and closes at 8:45.  Registration for wave 2 opens at 12:30 and closes at 1:45.

 

                ~Fees:                    Juniors $10.00                       Collegiate $20.00                  All others $25.00

 

            ~Wave 1 starts at 9:00am.  Wave 2 starts at 2:00pm.  Each field will start at approximately 5 minute intervals.

 

CATEGORIES:        *Women’s Cat 4 part of Cycling Made Real Series

 

Wave 1:          Pro, 1, 2                      4 laps                          $400/10 places

                        Collegiate A               3 laps                          None

                        Collegiate B               2 laps                          None

                        Women 1,2,3              2 laps                         $150/4 places each group

                      *Women Cat 4             1 lap                          $105/4 place/Leaders Jersey

 Collegiate Women    2 laps                          None

Juniors                        1 lap                            $125/4 places each group

            (Under 15 scored separately from 15 and up)

Wave 2:          Cat 3                           3 laps                          $300/8 places

                        Masters 35+               3 laps                          $300/8 places

Cat 4, 5                       2 laps                          $250/ 8 places

Masters 4/5 (30+)      2 laps                          $250/8 places

Masters 50+               2 laps                          $150/4 places

 

TEAM COMPETITION:      Points will be awarded equally in each field as follows: 

1st = 100, 2nd = 80, 3rd = 65, 4th = 55, 5th = 45, 6th = 35, 7th = 25, 8th = 15 9th = 10, 10th = 5

All others receive 2 points each. The team with the highest point total will receive a nice trophy.

 

NOTES: The course is 21 miles of good paved road with rolling hills and one longer gradual climb shortly prior to the finish.  The entire course is in open farmland where the wind can be quite a factor.

 

Prize list includes a mixture of cash and County Cycles gift certificates.

 

We reserve the right to combine fields.  Prizes listed will be awarded in each category even if fields are combined.

Rule:
1E4. After the official race announcement has been published, no changes
are allowed in the classes of riders eligible to compete, other than
adding races for separate classes, and the total prize list for any
given class may be reduced only if the class is divided and so are the
prizes. Other changes in required elements of the official race
announcement shall be permitted by the Administrator or Chief Referee
only to accommodate changed circumstances beyond the control of the
organizer.
