Gopher Wheelmen Cycling Club

With temperatures in the 30s, 40mph winds and periods of snow, it was the very definition of an epic road race. Waves were combined and delayed until 11:30 when the course had melted enough for a safe run, and 135 racers lined up for the start. This was the first time GW has used a chip timing system, and it seemed to go really well. Thanks to all of the organizers and volunteers who helped get the racing season off to a flying start.
